Conditions for Admission to Study in Doctoral Degree Study Programmes at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague

Candidates are admitted to Doctoral degree study programmes pursuant to the following regulations:
Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Universities and on Changes and Amendments of Other Related Acts as amended, the FCE Statute, the CTU Admission Procedure Rules (Annex No. 2 to the CTU Statute), Conditions for Study at CTU in Prague for Foreigners (Annex No. 3 to the CTU Statute), these Conditions and the Dean´s Directive on the Admission Procedure to Doctoral Degree Study Programmes (hereinafter Dean´s Directive).

Conditions for admission to Doctoral degree study:

Completion of university education in a Master´s degree study programme
Filing a properly filled in application form in a stipulated way by a specified deadline and with all prerequisites (including enclosures specified in the application form). The deadlines will be published on the FCE official board and on the FCE website.
Submitting a verified copy of a diploma on successful completion of Master´s degree study (the copy may be verified against the original by an authorized staff member during registration); if the education was completed in a country other than the Czech Republic or Slovak Republic, the condition is submitting a certificate of the diploma validation together with the application form. This requirement for submitting a validated copy of a diploma does not apply to Master´s degree study graduates at FCE.
In the case of foreigners (excluding candidates from the Slovak Republic) applying for study in a study programme taught in Czech language, a certificate of their readiness to study in Czech in one of the ways specified in the Dean´s Directive.
In the case of foreigners applying for study in a study programme taught in English, a certificate of their readiness to study in English in one of the ways specified in the Dean´s Directive.

Successful passing of the admission procedure

The course and the time schedule of the admission procedure are regulated by the Dean´s Directive.
