Admission of applicants to Master degree study programmes is regulated by the following documents:
Act No. 111/1998 Sb. on Universities as amended and related other acts,
the Statute of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague,
the CTU Admission Procedure Rules (Annex No. 2 to the CTU Statute),
these "Conditions for Admission to Study in Master Degree Study Programmes Implemented at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague",
and
the Dean´s Directive Public Announcement of the Admission Procedure to Master
Degree Study Programmes Organised at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague in the 2015/16 Academic Year (hereinafter "Dean´s Directive").
The applicants who have complied with the above conditions will be admitted to study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague (hereinafter "FCE") in the order given by the total number of points obtained in the admission procedure pursuant to par. 3, maximally in numbers filling individual study programmes and branches to capacity as specified in par. 6. If more applicants are placed in the last place pursuant to par. 6, all these applicants will be admitted.
General requirements for the examination are specified in the Dean´s Directive. The minimum number of points obtained in
each part of the admission examination necessary for admission to study is 20 out of the maximum number of 50 points.
For applicants who completed their study by the defence of a Bachelor thesis registered at the Department of Architecture FCE in
the 2013/14 or 2014/15 academic year, the overall results of the state graduation examination will be recognised as the results
of the admission examination. The number of points from the admission examination will be specified as the point evaluation of the
resulting mark for the state graduation examination pursuant to par. 4.

P is the point evaluation of the study weighted average of all courses completed in the Bachelor degree study (specified pursuant
to par. 4),
B is the point evaluation of the mark for the Bachelor thesis defence (specified pursuant to par. 4).

A is the point evaluation of the study weighted average of "Studio" courses completed in Bachelor degree study (specified
pursuant to par. 4),
P is the point evaluation of the study weighted average of all courses completed in Bachelor degree study (specified pursuant to par. 4),
S is the point evaluation of the final mark for the Bachelor thesis defence (specified pursuant to par. 4).

decimal places.
The grades for individual parts of the state graduation examination and the final mark are recalculated into point evaluation as follows:
A (excellent) | 100 points; |
B (very good) | 87,5 points; |
C (good) | 75 points; |
D (acceptable) | 62,5 points; |
E (satisfactory) | 50 points. |
