SETTING THE RELEVANT STAGE OF STUDY
FOR GRANTING A MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AND
THE AMOUNT OF MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

 

Pursuant to Art. 3 par. 11 of the Scholarship Code of CTU in Prague, I hereby set the relevant stage of study (i.e. the stage of study for which the scholarship is granted) and the amount of a merit scholarship valid from the 2015/2016 academic year as follows:

 

I. Relevant stage

  1. The relevant stage of study for granting a merit scholarship in the spring semester of the first academic year of Bachelor´s degree study is the winter semester of the first academic year of study.

  2. In all other cases (i.e. higher years of Bachelor´s degree study and Master´s degree study), the relevant stage of study for granting a merit scholarship is the previous academic year of study.

 

II. Amount of merit scholarship:

where the amount "X" is set by the Dean based on the number of granted scholarships and depending on the funds allocated for merit scholarships in the FCE CTU budget.

Pursuant to Art. 2 par. 3 of the Scholarship Code of CTU in Prague, the scholarship for the respective academic year is paid for a period of 10 months to the students´ accounts, the payment being executed in two payment terms: December, April. In each pay period the students receive a scholarship for 5 months in each payment term.

The proposal for setting the amount of merit scholarship was discussed and approved by the Academic Senate of FCE CTU in Prague on 14. 12. 2011.
