Meeting with California Polytechnic State University: Collaboration in Construction Management and Student Mobility Initiated

As part of international relations development and curriculum modernization, representatives from the prestigious California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) visited the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU in Prague.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss future collaboration in the field of Construction Management and to prepare an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement will expand and intensify an academic partnership that has already spanned nearly twenty years.

Both parties agreed that the priority for the upcoming period is the prompt launch of the initial student exchange programs (early student exchange). These mobility projects will offer our students a unique opportunity to combine the strong theoretical foundation from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU with Cal Poly’s renowned hands-on “Learn by Doing” approach, allowing them to gain invaluable experience in managing international construction projects.
