Resolution on Complementary Documents for Habilitation and Professor Appointment Proceedings

adopted by the 4th session of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU, held on 11th October 2018.

 

The Vice-Dean for Science and Research, prof. Dr. Ing. Bořek Patzák, informed the Board about the changes related to habilitation and professor appointment proceedings, about compulsory enclosures to applications, and proposed to increase the number of compulsory documents supplied.

Habilitation proceedings:
Together with the documents pursuant to CTU regulations and Act No. 111/1998 Coll., the applicants will be asked to submit the Head of Department´s opinion.
The participation of a minimum of two opponents is required at the Scientific Board session where the applicant´s defence will take; in justified cases an exception may be granted by the Scientific Board after voting.

Professor appointment proceedings:
Together with the documents pursuant to CTU regulations and Act No. 111/1998 Coll., the applicants will be asked to submit the Head of Department´s opinion.
The applicant shall submit an electronic version of the extended abstract to the Professor Lecture as demanded by the CTU Publishing House (20 - 30 pages). The printing costs are paid by the Faculty.
