The Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU was the first domestic university to be granted the RICS Accreditation. Thanks to it, the graduates in the branch of Project Management and Engineering can apply for the globally respected MRICS qualification after just two years of job experience. In the standard process, they could only apply after ten years of professional practice. RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is the world’s leading professional body in land, property, construction, focusing on all areas of the property market, setting the highest professional standards and ethical rules and ensuring that they are complied with. Experts with this qualification are highly valued by prestigious real estate companies, consulting or development firms, and it opens the door to their professional opportunities.
ŠTUK (STUdent Klub) was established on the students’ initiative in 2012, and its operation and activities have always been managed by the students. It focuses on the student life at school – it organizes, for example, the Formwork Welcome Party, but also field trips, workshops, discussions, lectures, film screenings and other events for future engineers and architects who do not want to spend their time at school by learning only. There is also a clubroom (As140) available, where you can relax, sit down with a book or chat with friends.
