TYPES OF COOKIES

Based on location:

  • First party cookies – Their operation is limited to the website domain you are browsing. These cookies are considered more secure.
  • Third party cookies – They are installed by means of a script from another domain. Thus, the users can be tracked across domains. They are commonly used to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising channels.

 

Based on operation time:

  • Session cookies – They are automatically deleted from the browser once it is closed.
  • Persistent cookies – They remain in operation even after the web browser has been closed, and are only deleted after a period of time (depending on your browser and the cookie settings). You can also delete them manually.

 

Based on purpose:

  • Necessary – Necessary cookies help to make the website usable by enabling basic functions such as site navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
  • Analytical – Analytical cookies help website operators understand how the website is used by the visitors to optimize the website and offer the visitors a better web experience. E.g. Google Analytics, SmartLook, etc.
  • Marketing – Marketing cookies are used to keep track of the visitor’s activity across websites in order to only show them such advertisements that are relevant and useful for the specific user. All data are collected and used anonymously and cannot be linked to a specific person. E.g. Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.
  • Unclassified – They do not belong to any category or are in the process of being categorized.

WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?

The following cookies are used on our website:

  • Google Tag Manager – This service is used for the easy management of tracking codes, it does not use any cookies and does not record any data.
  • Google Analytics – This service is used to generate non-anonymous statistics about site usage. The data obtained from the cookies are processed by the Google LLC Company.
  • Facebook Pixel – We use Facebook Pixel to evaluate our campaigns and anonymously target the users who have visited our website. The data obtained from the cookies are processed by Facebook Inc., based at 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
  • Smartlook – We use the Smartlook app to generate statistics about the use of the website. The data obtained from the cookies are processed by the Smarlook.com Ltd. Company, Šumavská 524/31, 602 00, Brno.
  • Cookie-script – We use the Cookie Script app to manage and evaluate cookie consent. The data obtained are processed by the Objectis Ltd. Company, Žalgirio st. 88, LT-09303 Vilnius, Lithuania.

We never place sensitive or personal data in cookies. We may place a user ID in cookies, but this does not allow third parties to identify a specific person.

HOW TO CHANGE COOKIES SETTINGS?

  • Deleting – You can delete the cookies stored in your browser if necessary. This option is usually located in the “History” of the visited pages.
  • Blocking – Browsers allow blocking the storage of cookies. In this case, the functionality of the website will be limited. For information on how to set your browser to store cookies, please visit the website of your browser provider.
