2021 Open Data Science Europe Workshop in the Netherlands is free of charge for students

From September 6-10, 2021, the 2021 Open Data Science Europe Workshop (devoted to spatial data processing with the use of open-source tools) will take place in Wageningen, the Netherlands.

The participants will focus, in particular, on the use of machine learning in the modelling of the spacetime data within the European landscape and climate. The workshop will be held in English and is organized by the OpenGeoHub Foundation, with the Department of Geomatics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague as a co-organizer. The students’ participation in the workshop is free, and those interested can apply to OpenGeoHub for the financial support needed to cover part of the travel and accommodation costs. The deadline for sending abstracts is May 1, 2021 (https://pretalx.opendatascience.eu/open-data-cube-europe-workshop-2021/), and registration will be opened at the beginning of June.
