Fib Medal of Merit 2020 for Prof. Petr Hájek

Prof. Petr Hájek has been awarded the fib Medal of Merit 2020.

The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) has awarded prof. Petr Hájek, the Head of the Department of Building Structures, with a prestigious Medal of Merit 2020 for his “Merits for Achievements in the Field “. Due to the pandemic, the ceremony took place online. He received the award in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of structural concrete and involvement within the Federation.

Prof. Petr Hájek chairs the “fib Commission 7 Sustainability“, and he also works in the fib Technical Committee and the fib General Assembly. In 1999–2015, we was the Chair of the fib Commission C3 Environmental Aspects, and his professional articles are published in the fib bulletin.
