HELP FOR UKRAINE

The Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague is offering support and assistance to the Ukrainian students and staff at FCE and CTU and the people close to them

THE DEAN’S LETTER ON THE SITUATION IN UKRAINE

Dear students,

The Management of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague fully agrees with the Statement of the Czech Rectors’ Conference, the CTU Rector’s Position and the CTU Academic Senate’s Resolution on the war in Ukraine. We condemn the war against a sovereign state and express our unequivocal support for the people of Ukraine.

The CTU Rector’s Office has set up an e-mail account ukrajina@cvut.cz, which serves the Ukrainian students at CTU in case of personal distress and where they can also communicate in Ukrainian.

In the case of study related problems, contact your official at the Student Administration, and you can also address the Vice-Dean for Education, prof. Zuzana Pešková.

Psychological and legal assistance will be provided by the CTU Centre for Information and Counselling Services (CIPS) at the following contacts: e-mail cips@cvut.cz and phone No. (+420) 224 358 460.

We are constantly monitoring the situation and, in cooperation with the CTU Rector’s Office, will be seeking the most effective help for our Ukrainian students and those bravely defending Ukraine in the coming days.
