Student Jiří Petrželka award in ČEEP competition

Bc. Jiří Petrželka, a graduate in the programme of Architecture and Building Sciences, has won the DEAN’S AWARD of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague in the national Czech Energy and Ecological Project (ČEEP) 2019 Competition for his design of a Czech Self-Sufficient House 2019.

The design by Jiří Petrželka, a first-year student of the Master’s programme in Architecture and Building Sciences, was awarded in the 2019 Czech Energy and Ecological Project, Construction, Innovation Competition, where interesting ideas, innovations and observations in the field of ecology and energy are evaluated. The student was granted the Dean’s Award of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague for his small-scale family home for a family of four, whose design had won the first place in the Czech Self-Sufficient House Competition 2019.

Jiří’s designs have already received several awards. His Bachelor’s thesis won the Czech Self-Sufficient House 2019 Competition. This year, together with Kristýna Klůsová, he has won at the national round of the Saint-Gobain Multi-Comfort House student competition and thus advanced to the international round in Paris.
